There are times when the discrepancy in the contours of the gum tissue is too great for just sculpting. Dr. Spoor has developed a unique technique to correct these defects using a combination of a laser, minor surgery and bonding to immediately give you a better appearance. This procedure usually has little post treatment discomfort and heals for approximately 2 months before the final restorative option is completed. The real advantage of Dr. Spoor’s technique is that you never have to go through the ugly-duckling stage or have sensitive teeth after the procedure while healing, as with traditional methods.
