Jana Williams – Office Administrator
Jana has been a member of our staff since 2010 and has worked in dentistry for over 25 years! Prior to working in the front office, Jana was a dental assistant for 10 years. With her experience as an assistant and years of working in the front office, Jana is very knowledgeable and well-versed on all of our office’s operations and procedures.
Jana’s favorite part of her job is “developing long lasting friendships with our patients” and “seeing the joy people have after they see themselves with a beautiful new smile. We always exceed their expectations.”
When she is away from work, Jana enjoys spending time with her family, planning trips, cheering on the Sounders at home games, riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles around town, and Kayaking in the local lakes.
Maria Brown- Patient Advocate
With 20 years of treatment coordination experience, Maria is here to help you coordinate and create a dental treatment plan that will best meet your needs. Maria is a continuing dental education lecturer, who is nationally recognized for speaking on topics such as dental practice management, patient communication, and creating the right platform for meaningful and lasting relationships with your dental care team and patients.
In addition to her experience in lecturing, Maria’s education includes postgraduate work with organizations such as the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies. Maria’s experience and expertise with patient/dental staff relationships and communication will help to ensure that you will have a great experience in our dental office.
At home, Maria likes to spend time with her husband and their four children. She likes to stay active by exercising each day. Her current side project is creating a cookbook comprised of healthy and delicious family recipes.
Kriston Reisnour- Hygienist
Director of Dental Hygiene, Kriston Reisnour, RDH works with patients one-on-one to restore dental health and maintain wellness for the long term. She is passionate about education and provides our patients with easy to apply instructions to improve home care and keep smiles healthy for life.
Kriston holds a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the Oregon Institute of Technology and has completed extensive post-graduate training in a variety of dental protocols including:
· Nationally Acclaimed Dental Educator: Sleep Apnea
· Preceptorship Bale/Doneen: Oral Systemic Prevention of Heart Attack and Stroke
· Certified: Neuromuscular, Laser 2, and Ozone Dental Treatment
· Member: Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society
When Kriston is not enrolled in continuing dental education, she spends her spare time with family and is especially proud of her son who is a collegiate baseball player.
Jamie Purnell – Lead Dental Assistant
Jamie has been a dental assistant with us for over a decade and has worked in dentistry for nearly 30 years. What Jamie likes most about her job is her influence on helping patients to change how they feel about going to the dentist, seeing the transformation that takes place when patients actually feel good about how they look, and as a result, seeing them smile with confidence.
Jamie feels honored to be a part of such a great team at Dr. Spoor’s office and she can’t imagine working anywhere else. She says, “I go home each night knowing we provided an exceptional experience with exquisite, quality work for our patients and that is what it’s all about!”
When she is not at work, Jamie enjoys spending time with her family. She has been married to her husband for 24 years and they have two teenage sons. She has many years of dental experience combined with her kind personality, which makes her a true asset to our dental team.
Michelle Warner – Expanded Duty Dental Assistant
Michelle has been a dental assistant in our office since 2011 and has worked in the dental field for over 15 years. She completed her dental assisting education at Lake Washington. Michelle loves her job here as a dental assistant. “I love helping my patients go through amazing transformations, externally and internally,” she says.
When she is not working, she is busy raising two beautiful children, Dylan and Maizey. They love going on fun family trips together and rooting for the Seahawks. As one of Dr. Spoor’s dental assistants, Michelle is another valuable member of our dental team. As a patient, you will appreciate her friendliness, skills and expertise as she assists Dr. Spoor in dental procedures.
